CrossFit Teens Program
What is CrossFit Teens?
CrossFit Teens is not simply a scaled down version of CrossFit, it is entirely absolutely CrossFit geared and designed for a special population and the specific developmental needs of that population. Teens complete traditional CrossFit workouts under the watchful eye of the coach who dictates the pace, rep schemes and cadence of the class. Meanwhile, teens learn how to train properly and learn to love fitness!
Teens spend time practicing foundational movements on a more predictable schedule. The teen program is open to young athletes who want to improve their strength and conditioning for the purpose of off season training, to improve body composition, or as a sport itself!
In a group setting, kids and teens participate in fun and engaging workouts that deliver measurable results and prepare them to be well-rounded athletes with exercise and games!
CrossFit Teens workouts consist of constantly varied, functional movements that deliver a fitness that is broad, inclusive and scaleable for any participant at any level.
What Does this mean?
This means that, for the most part, no two workouts are the same, so teens never get bored and the novelty of each workout keeps them excited about participating.
The functional movements involve exercises that are fundamental to all things that teens need to do when they play sports or engage in life; pull, push, run, throw, climb, lift and jump. All of the movements are taught safely and effectively under the close supervision of thoroughly trained CrossFit Kids Trainers.
